The high school football season enters the midway point of the regular season in Arkansas and Oklahoma, with the feature of the 7A West between Rogers and Fayetteville. Bentonville coach Jody Grant also reached a milestone as he notched his 100th win as head coach. We bring you scores around the area.

The girls' state golf tournaments took place during the week. The Rogers Lady Mounties won the 6A West championship and moved closer to Mount St. Mary's for the state championship. Coach Jamie Rains speaks about her athletes, who will all return next year with some talented freshmen added to the lineup. Gravette senior Tegan Muldoon was runner-up in the 4A tournament and will head to the overall state tournament in a couple of weeks, while Shiloh Christian was runner-up in the team competition. Kingston would finish second in the 1A tournament.

We also highlight cross-country, with the Huntsville Invitational earlier in the week and the Chili Pepper Classic at the University of Arkansas.

And we preview the state tennis tournaments for the individual classes followed by the overall championships the following week.
